vlisco invited us on a five-month creative journey to develop eighteen couture looks for the vlisco garden campaign. divided into three chapters inspired by the brand’s iconic wax print designs, the project explored the garden’s transformation through morning, noon, and night. working closely with vlisco’s creative team, we translated the world of prints into sculptural silhouettes that merged colour, texture, and form.
the first chapter called noon introduces the muses as they discover the blooming vlisco world, presenting the season’s new textile lines through handcrafted couture pieces.
blossom,
the second chapter, captures the moment the garden bursts to life before our eyes. a vibrant explosion of colour unfolds as thousands of flowers bloom and the joyful vlisco fabrics come alive in playful motion. building on the same 6 silhouettes as before, we gradually elevated the shapes with three-dimensional interpretations of the prints and by infusing them with new layers of colour.
silver sunset, the third chapter, marks the moment the garden transforms into a metallic dreamscape. as the light fades, everything turns serene and reflective. fabrics shimmer in soft silver tones, settling into their most majestic pose. in this final stage, we went all out. exaggerating shapes and details until they grew into monumental, blooming haute couture pieces that celebrate the garden at its most dramatic and divine hour.
