we made things for björk, an icelandic singer and performer who probably doesn’t need an introduction, and that’s nice.
tim walker was there too. it made for a lovely little triangle. he included us in his shoot for the moon book and took us to the victoria & albert museum in london which was very (very) nice.
we rolled around the cover with grimes for rolling stone magazine in new york.
we rubbered pommelien thijs and then we rubbered her touring stage and then we also ended up rubbering this ridiculously large but gorgeous rubber tree that didn’t fit the house of rubber studio but fits perfectly on her new album cover. it was a great avant-gardening experience.
to complete the rubber fantasy we also made fun(ky) rubber custom looks.
we had several merry holidays when making custom bow looks for sia and maddie ziegler for the ellen degeneres liveshow in los angeles.
we became even more merry when we were commissioned to make this fun and funky dress for the film sisters (while) staring (at) kate hudson.
